Short answer
Visitors, expats and patients from abroad see a dermatologist in Denizli just as local patients do: you book by phone or WhatsApp, are examined first, and single-visit treatments such as Botox or a mole check can often be done the same day. Our clinic holds health tourism authorisation, and Dr. Tuba Çelebi Kayhan sees every patient herself.

| Booking | Phone or WhatsApp, also from a foreign number |
|---|---|
| Language | Consultations are held in Turkish |
| Single visit | Botox, fillers, mole checks and skin care, if suitable |
| Several visits | Laser hair removal and treatment courses |
| Authorisation | International Health Tourism Authorisation, T.C. Ministry of Health |
People come to a dermatology clinic in Denizli from many directions: foreign residents who have settled in the city, visitors spending a few days around Pamukkale, and Turkish citizens living abroad who use a trip home for a skin check. The medical side is the same for all of them; what changes is the time available, the language and the follow-up once you have left.
Our clinic holds the International Health Tourism Authorisation Certificate from the T.C. Ministry of Health, which authorises it under the regulation on international health tourism. A little planning around your dates makes the most of a short stay.
How Do You Book a Dermatologist in Denizli From Abroad?
The simplest way is to call or send a WhatsApp message to +90 530 442 48 68. A written message has two advantages: you can use a translation tool, and you can include your dates in Denizli, a short description of your concern and, if it helps, a photo.
The clinic is open Monday to Saturday and closed on Sundays; you can find opening hours and directions here. If your time in the city is short, tell us your arrival and departure dates when you book, so that the appointment falls early enough to leave room for a check-up.
What Language Is the Consultation In?
Consultations are held in Turkish. If you are not confident in Turkish, we recommend bringing someone you trust who can interpret. Your medical history, the medicines you take and the aftercare instructions are the parts where clear understanding matters most.
Before a procedure, write down the questions you want answered: what is being treated, which product or device is used, which side effects can occur and what to do after you leave. Going through such a list with an interpreter keeps nothing important from being lost.
What Can Be Done in a Short Visit?
For many treatments the consultation and the procedure can take place on the same day, if the treatment is suitable for you. Treatments that need preparation or a course of sessions are planned at the consultation instead.
| Treatment | Single visit? | What to plan for |
|---|---|---|
| Botox | Usually yes | Effect settles in 10-15 days; check-up after that |
| Fillers | Usually yes | Mild swelling for a few days, especially on the lips |
| Mole check (dermoscopy) | Yes | Pathology result comes later if a mole is removed |
| Medical skin care | Usually yes | Sun protection in the following days |
| Laser hair removal | No, a course is needed | Several sessions over months; no fresh tan |
For Botox in Denizli, the procedure takes 10-15 minutes and you can return to your plans the same day. Booking in the first days of your stay is the practical choice, because the result is only fully visible after 10-15 days.
Is Laser Hair Removal Possible During a Holiday?
Laser hair removal is a course, not a single appointment: on the body it takes an average of 6 sessions, on the face and in hormonal hair growth an average of 10, with intervals that depend on the area. Skin should not be tanned or exposed to a sunbed for 1-1.5 months before a session, and freshly tanned or sunburnt skin is not treated.
A summer holiday spent in the sun is therefore rarely the right time to start. For expats and people who visit Denizli regularly, a laser hair removal course can be planned around their calendar, ideally starting in the months with less sun.
What If You Need a Mole Check Before You Leave?
A mole check with dermoscopy is an examination, not a procedure: we look at your moles with a device that gives light and magnification, and you leave with a clear plan. Most moles only need monitoring, which you can continue with a dermatologist where you live.
If a mole looks suspicious, it is removed and sent to pathology, and the result is not available on the same day. When you are leaving soon, we agree at the time of the procedure how the result will reach you, and you take a written note of what was removed and from where.
Which Aftercare Rules Matter When You Fly Home?
The aftercare is the same as for any patient; what changes is that you will follow it on the road. The rules we give after the most common single-visit treatments are:
- Botox: for the first 1-2 hours, do not wash your face, wear make-up, massage the area, bend over or lie down; avoid intense exercise on the day.
- Fillers: for the first 24 hours, avoid hot baths and showers, the sauna and the hammam, and heavy exercise; do not massage the area unless we tell you to.
- Laser and skin care treatments: protect the treated skin from the sun and use a high-protection sunscreen on exposed areas.
Ask for a written record of your treatment before you leave: the product used, the treated areas and the date. Any doctor who sees you later will need this information. If you notice an unexpected change once you are home, contact us and see a doctor where you are; for breathing or swallowing difficulty, go to the nearest emergency department straight away.
What Does the Health Tourism Authorisation Mean?
The International Health Tourism Authorisation Certificate is issued by the General Directorate of Health Services of the T.C. Ministry of Health. It shows that our clinic is authorised under the regulation on international health tourism. You can view the certificate, dated 27 August 2025, and its PDF among our clinic certificates.
When you compare clinics abroad, an official authorisation like this sits alongside the other checks worth making: the doctor's specialist training, an examination before any procedure and a clear plan for follow-up. They are the same criteria we suggest for choosing a dermatologist anywhere.
What Should You Bring to the Appointment?
- Your passport or another form of ID
- Any previous test, biopsy or pathology results, with translations if you have them
- A list of the medicines and skin care products you use
- Your travel dates, so that treatment and follow-up can be planned around them
Prices depend on the treatment, the area, the number of sessions and the product used. You can ask for preliminary information by phone or WhatsApp; your personal plan and the price are confirmed after the consultation with Dr. Tuba Çelebi Kayhan.
